Here at Christian Cottage, we work to “Keep the Love in Learning.” We love to help you to find the best curriculum suited for you and your child. When an item was missing from the choices that were available, we would write and publish it ourselves.
Easy English Picture Directory* Did you know that letter shapes can resemble pictures? (Letter “b” resembles a bat and a ball!) Letters and sounds are simplified with actions, and very colorful illustrations using the shape of the letter as a clue. Advanced picture letters illustrate all English phonemes through actions. (Pre K – 3rd) Available as a printed flip-book +/or video of child-dramatized version.
Easy English Reading Program* We use this program to help the poor worldwide to speak English well. There are pronunciation exercises throughout. Available as giant-print books as well as recorded, echo-back rhythmic video lessons. Multiple songs and games are included.
Learning Rivers Reading and Writing Program There is no other program we know of that teaches through all of the senses like Learning Rivers. You will learn sounds by picture/color, rhythmic reading and writing. Then we add simple and fun creative writing activities as well as spelling by sound and structure. Spelling and word games are also included. Learning Rivers is your complete Language Arts (Grades K-4)
Christian Cottage Unit Studies provide your family with a simple well-organized program for an entire family to learn together through projects and activities. Activities are included for grades 1-10. You will cover subjects of history, geography as well as science labs and projects. Enrichment subjects include cooking, art, and music appreciation. Christian Cottage Unit Studies can be purchased as a large printed book in a binder, as a full color e-book, or even downloaded as single units. Every lesson begins with a short devotional message, includes text material and hands-on applications.
My Everything Book was written to provide a simple method to help your student to recall basic information. We have included activities and charts for all of the topics we use in testing as well as personal organization and bible reading sections.
